Orchestra Administrator
The Lambeth Orchestra currently has a vacancy for the
position of Orchestra Administrator.
This role works closely with the conductor and committee in all
matters relating to the successful running of this amateur orchestra.
The orchestra has 110 members, rehearses every Thursday evening
in Brixton, and gives between 8 and 12 concerts a year on Saturdays
throughout Lambeth - a mixture of own promotions, choral engagements
and children's education concerts.
The orchestra is part funded by Lambeth Council, member subscriptions,
ticket sales and other charitible sources.
The role includes attendance at all rehearsals and concerts,
in addition to administration at other times, mainly by email
(about 3-5 hours a week), and occasional meetings.
Orchestral experience is essential, as is the desire to get involved
in the running of an orchestra at a high and responsible level.
Salary - c.£800pa
