Subs & Gift Aid Update

As I'm sure you're aware, costs are rising across the board and it's the same for us; both concert and rehearsal venue fees have substantially increased, and the MU has recommended a 7% increase to professional musicians' fees.  We want to continue to offer exciting (and well-rehearsed!) programmes so to help cover these increased costs we will be increasing both concert ticket prices and members' subscriptions.  It's worth noting that these have not increased since 2016.

Ticket prices will vary from venue to venue, so slightly higher prices for central London venues, and lower for more local venues, and we will continue to offer cheaper advance tickets online. 

SUBS increase will be as follows: 

• £240 standard 

• £150 retired

• £120 students

• £48 one-off concert fee for occasional players/extras
  

There are several options for payment:

• Set up a standing order (£20 a month for standard members, £12.50 for retired members, £10 for students). This method is preferable as it means our income is spread across the year. 

• A one-off payment by bank transfer. We can also accept cheques, though bank transfers are much preferred.

• A one-off payment by card. Please come find our Treasurer, Dean from the bass section, at a rehearsal or concert to organise this.

Gift Aid - make your subscriptions can go further with Gift Aid

Through the Government’s Gift Aid scheme, Lambeth Orchestra can claim an additional 25p for every £1 you donate - your subscription. So if you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your subscriptions (donations) to us by 25%, at no extra cost to yourself.
