The Lambeth Orchestra's next concert is on 19 May at All Saints' Church and James Willshire will be the soloist in Rachmaninov's Piano concert No 3.

Following the theme of this year's programme of performances of composers' first symphonies, the second half of the concert will be devoted to Brahms.


The 2011/2012 season also includes a performance Sibelius' first symphony.

Two of the orchestra's wind principals, John Cooney (clarinet) and Suzie Palmer (bassoon), perform Strauss' Duet Concertino in the final concert of the season on 31 June.
