The Lambeth Orchestra begins 2012 with a concert including Shostakovich's first symphony. Alexander Sitkovetsky plays Glazunov's violin concerto and Sarasate's showpiece Zigeunerweisen. Dvorak's In Nature’s Realm begins the concert on 11 February at All Saints' Church.


The 2011/2012 season also includes a performance Puccini's La Boheme.

Two of the orchestra's wind principals, John Cooney (clarinet) and Suzie Palmer (bassoon), perform Strauss' Duet Concertino in the final concert of the season on 31 June.
